Orbits Terms of use
Last updated October 5, 2026
The short version
- Orbits is a platform. Sellers (creators and event hosts) sell to Buyers; Orbits is not part of the sale.
- Money goes straight from Buyer to Seller through Stripe. We take an application fee from sellers on each sale.
- Sellers are responsible for their events, content, refunds and taxes.
- Be honest, follow the law, and don't misuse the platform.
- English law applies, and your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

1. About us
Orbits is run by Enter Orbit Limited, trading as Orbits (“we”, “us”), registered in England and Wales (company number 17492177), registered office 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, United Kingdom. Contact: alex@orbits.club.
These terms apply to everyone who uses Orbits. By creating an account or buying something, you agree to them and to our privacy policy at https://orbits.club/privacy.
2. Our role
We provide the technology for Sellers to sell and Buyers to buy. That means we:
- are not the seller of any ticket, membership or content, and are not a party to any sale;
- do not organise events or check what Sellers offer;
- do not hold payments: Stripe processes them directly between Buyer and Seller;
- are not responsible for delivery, refunds, cancellations or disputes between Buyers and Sellers.
Questions about an event or purchase should go to the Seller first.
3. Your account
You must be 18 or over. Keep your details accurate and your login secure, and tell us at alex@orbits.club if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Using Orbits
Do not use Orbits to break the law, mislead or defraud anyone, post hateful, harassing or sexually explicit content, infringe anyone's rights, scrape or attack the platform, or take payment for an Orbits listing outside Orbits.
You own what you post. You let us host, display and promote it so we can run Orbits.
You can report content you think is illegal or breaks these rules at alex@orbits.club. We will review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts. If we act on your content, we will tell you why and how to appeal.
The Orbits name, logo and software belong to us.
5. For Sellers
You are a Seller if you sell tickets, memberships, content or anything else on Orbits.
- You are the seller. Each sale is a contract between you and the Buyer. You are responsible for accurate listings, delivering what you sell, running events as described, and any licences or insurance you need.
- Stripe. You need a Stripe account in good standing and must accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Payouts come from Stripe; we never hold your money.
- Fees.We charge an application fee following each sale, deducted automatically, agreed in writing prior to onboarding. Stripe's fees are charged to you on top.
- Buyers. Show your name to Buyers, reply to their questions within 5 days, and tell them straight away if an event is cancelled, moved or significantly changed.
- The law. You must follow consumer, data protection and tax law (including VAT) for your sales. You and Orbits are each separately responsible for the Buyer data you hold.
- Tax reporting. We may have to share your details and sales totals with HMRC or other tax authorities.
- Chargebacks. Disputes are raised against your Stripe account and are your responsibility.
- Claims against us. If someone makes a claim against us because of your events, content or breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs.
6. Refunds and cancellations
- You must publish a clear refund policy for each listing. It must not reduce any rights Buyers have by law.
- If you cancel an event or cannot deliver what you sold, you must refund affected Buyers in full within 14 days.
- You process refunds through Orbits or your Stripe dashboard. When you refund a sale, Orbits will refund its application fee in full. Stripe's fees may not be returned by Stripe.
- If you fail to deal with refunds you owe, we may suspend your account, pause your listings, and share relevant information with Buyers and Stripe.
7. For Buyers
You buy from the Seller named at checkout, not from Orbits.
- Price. The checkout price is the total you pay, including any fees and VAT. Orbits does not charge Buyers a booking fee.
- Tickets.Entry is subject to the Seller's and venue's rules.
- Refunds.Refunds follow the Seller's policy and your legal rights. Contact the Seller first; if they do not reply within 7 days, contact us and we will try to help.
- Cancelling. Tickets for a dated event do not come with the usual 14-day cancellation right. You can cancel a membership at any time to stop future payments.
8. Liability
We do not limit liability where the law does not allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. We are not responsible for Sellers, their events or their content.
If you use Orbits for business, including as a Seller, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the last 12 months and £100. Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer.
9. Closing accounts and changing these terms
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or where the law requires it, and will usually tell you why. We may update these terms and will give 30 days' notice of important changes.
10. Complaints and law
Send any complaint to alex@orbits.club. These terms are governed by English law, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law where you live and can bring claims in your local courts.
11. General
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may transfer these terms to another business; you need our permission to transfer yours. Only you and we can enforce them.
